Our Secondary Plus English course will help students achieve academic success at school, prepare for the O-Level English exam and get ready for university.

How is the course delivered? 

Our blended in-class and online learning approach allows for a more rewarding and enjoyable learning experience. Classes include:

• engaging reading and writing tasks, supported by speaking and listening practice with a highly-trained teacher, help students build the skills needed for exam success and academic progress.
• interactive independent study assignments are set by the teacher to prepare students for class. These are available on an easy-to-use learning hub with a personal dashboard. Students can track their progress and goals, come to class fully prepared and able to focus on improving their English speaking skills.

What are the learning principles? 

This course focuses on helping students develop a global mindset by enhancing their critical thinking, resilience, and deep reading skills. We use engaging, current topics related to real-world issues. The course is designed to improve communication and life skills while teaching students how to apply their knowledge for the O-level examinations.

Students will:

• develop confidence in speaking English through interactive activities such as presentations, fun debates, vlogging and interviews .
• develop strategies for tackling exams through writing summaries, researching projects and taking effective notes when listening to presentations and lectures.
• learn and apply language skills while working on real-world projects covering tourism and the environment, ethical food, well-being, and climate change
• develop life skills such as collaboration, leadership, creativity, citizenship and digital skills.
• learn English in an inclusive space. Our highly qualified teachers treat students as individuals and motivate them to take charge of their learning.

Our O-Level Preparation Course is designed for students in Singapore who are working towards their O-Level English exam.

How is the course delivered? 

The course focuses on helping students master essential exam skills while developing the confidence and independence they need to perform at their best.

What are the learning principles? 

Students will:

• learn how to plan, craft, and edit their essays effectively, using clear structures and stylistic control.
• develop reflective habits that help them identify their strengths and areas for improvement.
• build a strong foundation in reading comprehension by identifying question types and learning strategies to extract key information and make logical inferences.
• practise how to summarise texts concisely and accurately.
• strengthen their oral communication through practice activities that build fluency, confidence, and performance skills.
• improve listening comprehension by learning how to identify key details, follow ideas, and take effective notes from spoken texts.

Our lessons combine practical exam preparation with engaging classroom activities and teacher feedback to ensure steady progress. Each class blends focused exam techniques with language development so that students not only learn how to tackle the paper, but also how to think critically, express ideas clearly, and communicate confidently.
